I was a deer of a herd in Amazons

and the glory of a flock of swans

before that forest fire, beyond repair

and that flashflood of despair

I became forlorn as I lost my herd

Anguish invaded me, left me perturbed

Pessimism completely penetrated my soul

and so I became a living ghoul

But the worldly fear I did transcend

as angles from heaven do descend

Life may not be good, but it’s still fair

Each breath is more precious than a sapphire

The evidence of life and a miracle

And my joy reached it’s pinnacle

Hallelujah! Alhamdullilah! All praise to God!

Each breath counts and deserves a nod
breathe
